Are blogs good or bad?

We were discusing this question one hour and we arrived in that conclusion:
blogs are good if are controlated by someone but if not the parents or whoever needs to control the blogs of his son

How to be a good blogger?

1-Define your goals: you need to know what type of blog you want.
2-Know your audience: you should know who this blog is intended for.
3-Be consitent: the contents of the blog follow always the same topic (Ex: News, fishing...).
4-Be persistent: a good blogger always updates his/her blog frequently.
5-Be inviting: you need to invite your audience to comment your posts and also comment other bloggers' posts.
6-Be visible: do a lot of publicity of your blog in other websites, bookmarking networks...
7-Take risks: don't be afraid to try new things.
8-Ask for help: if you're a blog beginner you can ask other bloggers to help you.
9-Keep learning: look for new tools and gadgets to improve your blog.
10-Be yourself: create your blog following your likes and create you brand.
We hope that this rules will be helpful for the new bloggers of the world.
